At Sociants we firmly believe that technology can be a vehicle to overcome the challenges that organizations and governments face by providing services that improve people's quality of life. That's why we have brought together technology developers, social workers and health law experts to offer the tools and solutions that allow them to expand the reach of their initiatives and contribute to the creation of a more equitable society.

OUR HISTORY
The storm that made us stronger
Like many other projects, Sociants arises from the great need that Puerto Rico experienced in 2017 after the passage of Hurricane MarÃa. During that period of precarious living conditions for a large majority of Puerto Ricans, improvised support systems emerged among citizens, and a large number of community-based organizations were tested. As developers, our way of transforming what happened into something positive was by visualizing a tool that would facilitate the coordination of aid and social care between community organizations and providers. Today, Sociants has become the main coordination and operation tool for organizations such as the Sor Isolina Ferré Foundation, and the Puerto Rican Epilepsy Society, among others.
